I'm Jose Manuel Fernández, the owner of El Olivo. This cortijo is the house I grew up in — I've spent a big part of my life here with my family, surrounded by the land and its animals.
My father has always loved animals and working the land, so we grew up among goats, pigs, hens and rabbits, with vegetable gardens, avocado and vine — we even made our own wine at home.
I know Frigiliana and the Axarquía from the inside, not from a guidebook. This site is how I share those corners with the people who come to stay at the house.
